Online Narcissistic Abuse Support
About the Event
Hi everyone!
We are continuing to offer narcissistic support in an online format! This is the group we've held for over 6 years!
Who can attend the group?
You might be in a relationship with someone you consider to be narcisissistic, abusive or just plain toxic and unhealthy. You may have left the relationship and are having trouble healing from it. This could be a romantic partnership, family, friend or coworker.
What do we talk about?
Topics of the group are decided by the members in attendance and facilitated with our licensed therapists. We are open talk about dating, relationships, family members, work relationships -whatever your concerns are. Typical topics have been: how to set boundaries, what to do with anger, how to go "no contact", how to deal with coparenting and a difficult ex, and more. Groups are facilitated by Elise Himes, who brings a warm, caring style through her years of experience in domestic violence support groups at the Domestic VIolence Resource Center.
Due to state laws, this group is open ONLY to those that are able to be in Oregon when attending the group.
How do I attend?
RSVP to this notice! If you change your mind and need to cancel, please get back on and cancel!! (See the cancellation policy below!) We will send you a link to attend the group at least one hour before the group begins.
All groups happen on Google Meet, which you can use on your computer or phone. You do not need to download anything to get started. We do require that you use video during the session so all group members can be seen, and you will be required to sign a consent to group teletherapy which describes how teletherapy groups work.
What is the cost? Does insurance pay for it?
If you are a current OHP client seeing one of our therapists, the group is charged to your insurance at not cost to you.
If you have private insurance, we suggest you check with your insurance company to check their rules on reimbursement. We are able to send the billing to your insurance but cannot guarantee payment.
If you are on OHP Healthshare/Care Oregon but do NOT see one of our therapists, we are unable to bill OHP for you. (this is OHP in Multnomah, Washington or Clackamas County)
If you are paying out of pocket, we will discount the cost to $20 during the pandemic. This will be charged to your debit or credit card on file.
CANCELLATION POLICY IS STRICTLY ENFORCED. Please note that we make final decisions about whether to hold the group the day before the group happens so our therapist can plan for it. If you find you are unable to come, you are able to turn your RSVP to a cancellation. If you are on the RSVP as a "yes" 24 hours before the session, you will be charged whether you attend or not !
We have such a huge heart for supporting you and for this work!! We are so looking forward to seeing you all!
Thank you!
