"It's okay to take a break from life to focus on healing.
It's also okay to take a break from healing to focus on life."

Hello there,

My name is Jacey Bishop and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in both Oregon and Kansas. I reign from the Midwest, having completed both my undergrad and graduate degrees at The University of Kansas (go Hawks!). I have been working directly with survivors of domestic violence and abuse since I was just eighteen years old, starting out as a volunteer in a local shelter and never looking back since. As a child survivor of domestic violence myself, I knew immediately that I had found my calling in life. I am a lover of plants, crafts, reading, yoga, and roller-skating. When I am not with clients, you can find me partaking in anything creative and/or outdoors!

Since beginning my career as a therapist over three years ago, I have gained ample experience working with those impacted by abuse in many different forms. I am EMDR trained and certified and enjoy working on trauma recovery. I love to incorporate different mediums into my practice, including but not limited to art, plants, and body movement.

It is my belief as a therapist that it is not your job to cater to me, but my job to make therapy right for YOU. I believe a collaborative therapeutic process is crucial in creating a lasting and trusting relationship between a therapist and client. Because of this, you will find that I subscribe to numerous different therapeutic models in my practice, adjusting accordingly for my clients. I am humbled and honored to have the opportunity to work with each client, and truly hope to gain and build your trust to do so by working together. To me, therapy is about learning to trust yourself and your needs.

Jacey has a special interest in working with Transition Aged adolescents, ages 18-26.
