"Our relationship with our self is the basis for healing. We often benefit from learning how to listen to our own body, identify and protect our boundaries and explore how past experiences inform the way we see and interact with the world around us. When we are able to more objectively see how we have come to any specific place in our lives, it is easier to look at where we want to go and who we want to become moving forward."

My name is Jana (pronounced "Ya-nah").  I am a Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW) with specific training in trauma informed care, mindfulness, EMDR, Motivational Interviewing and CBT. These are therapies used in helping people to heal from trauma, domestic violence, narcissistic abuse, reliance on substances and more.

The ability to work with people towards growth, change and healing is truly an honor. This is delicate work that requires trust and authenticity, leading to a place of vulnerability and increased self-knowledge. Each person has the power and knowledge within them to guide themselves towards healing and increased wellness.

My interpretations of wellness have been informed by diverse experiences and
communities, having lived as far north as Alaska and as far South as Chiapas, and many places in between. I come to this work with a strengths-based perspective and my intention is to support open therapeutic relationships, as unique as each\ individual client’s needs.

Treatment areas that I work in include:

  • Anxiety

  • Self Esteem

  • Individual Growth

  • Compassion Fatigue
