Your intuition, insights, and voice matters. However, it can be hard to believe this when our life experiences or relationships have made us question our value, our worth, and our perceptions. After experiencing trauma it can be hard to trust, connect with others, or even feel like we can share our thoughts, feelings, and opinions safely. We may begin to feel like fragments of ourselves and feel confused or lost. This can be further exaggerated if there are already other barriers in our life. In counseling, I want to support you in finding your way to the person you want to be in the life that you hope for as we remove barriers together. I am devoted to helping people feel seen and heard while they share the parts of themselves that have been hidden, mistreated, dismissed or overlooked. I strive to honor and acknowledge people’s strength and resilience and want to form a relationship where we can both be authentic with each other and you can feel comfortable and safe.

I offer holistic, compassionate and non-judgemental care to my clients. I focus on creating a warm space where my clients can explore both their physical and emotional experiences openly. I have provided counseling and support to teens and adults at the Domestic Violence Resource Center, community counseling clinic, residential programs, day treatment programs and in-home care. Many of my clients have experiences of trauma as well as experiences navigating chronic pain, chronic illness and disability, I want to honor and celebrate all of the intersecting identities that you bring into the room.

Optional as far as approaches I work from: I work relationally, and draw from mindfulness approaches, strength-based, compassion-focused therapy, internal family systems theory and EMDR.
