Hi, I am Jill Godici (she/her), a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, working with individuals from both Oregon and Washington. You may meet me at Health Allies as your Intake Therapist. This means I meet with you one time before you see your therapist for the first time. It's my job to welcome you to this practice, to help get the paperwork straight including gathering additional
information about what you are experiencing, and to help you feel welcomed and safe here. Insurance has a lot of requirements. My job is to know what those requirements are to help eliminate the financial worries of paying for therapy. I ensure that we meet your insurance requirements so that your sessions are covered by completing an initial information gathering session. I can help match you with the best fit. By taking on these tasks, I help your therapist focus on doing what they do best. I look forward to meeting you!
As a Mental Health Therapist, I believe in the power of therapy. My philosophy is that life is truly a gift. In working through our past and making choices for our present and future, every person can find inner peace on t heir unique journey in this life. I know that it can be anxiety
producing to start therapy and I feel honored to be a part of that first step. My approach is warm, thoughtful and inclusive. The past few years have tested many individuals and systems.
The amount of stress and challenges can leave many people feeling hopeless. I believe with understanding, support, empathy and finding and practicing the right tools anyone can take charge of their mental health and well being. More importantly celebrate who they are as a
unique individual that has worth and value. This leads to a higher quality of life that can be enjoyed. I have extensive experience working in various settings including hospitals, schools and community agencies. I understand that not all systems are healthy and at times can feel harmful and disempowering. I proudly support the freedom each person has to be themselves.
I am proud to work for an agency that truly strives to work within a social justice lends supports the LGBTQIA2S+ community and work toward a trauma informed, anti-racist and inclusive approach. I am committed to ongoing professional development and staying current with the latest
research and best practices in the field. I have extensive training in diversity and equity and inclusion. I strive to provide the highest quality care to the clients and families I serve.
In my free time, I love taking road trips throughout the Pacific Northwest. I enjoy being an amateur photographer and occasional artist/potter. I have two dogs including a St Bernard puppy and a cat.
Areas I enjoy working with include:
Trauma
Anxiety
Depression
Self-esteem
Adolescents
