Hello, my name is Bonnie Rudder. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Oregon. I completed my training at Salem State University in Massachusetts. I have spent the past 6 years working with individuals and families who have been impacted by traumatic experiences, loss, mental health crisis, substance use problems, relationship and family struggles, and stress. I have advanced training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), course-work in Narrative Therapy, and in my work commonly draw from somatic, family systems, solution focused and neurodevelopmentally informed therapies.  I tailor treatment to the unique needs of individual(s) and families with whom I am working from my training in evidence-based modalities.

I believe that we all have the innate ability to heal and that many of the answers we seek lie within us. Once we let the noise from the world around us fall away, we can begin to listen to ourselves more deeply, to find comfort and safety, and to navigate the world with new skill and understanding. Through a supportive therapeutic relationship, I believe we can discover or re-discover our strength, voice, and intrinsic wisdom. I seek to provide tools from which individuals can grow in their understanding of their past, integrate those experiences into their present, and create a brighter future.

I offer therapy as a collaborative process through which clients can build a stronger sense of self, a set of reliable ways to cope with adversity, pain or discomfort, and explore sources of joy, fulfillment, and happiness. I would be honored to be a part of this process with you.

"Everyone’s story is important, has meaning, and deserves to be heard. Once we have the tools, understanding, and support, we can take hold of our own narrative and begin to write the story of the life we want to live."
