I’m new to Portland, Oregon. I moved here last year for an ultrasound tech job at the VA from Redondo Beach, California. I have two fur babies Harold, pug, and Penelope, basset hound. We are a little family that love nature walks, cooking, and painting. Since I work so much, Harold and Penny go to social club at LexiDog or have their dog walker help out with walks and trips to the dog park. Hopefully, the VA will find more help and that will give me more time to venture out and experience all the wonderful sites that Oregon has to offer! I’m also grateful to have moved here to Portland because I escaped a very toxic and abusive relationship with my narc. Unfortunately, the relocation hasn’t been the thing that solved all my problems. I’m still healing emotionally and mentally from that relationship and I find myself feeling extra sensitive and more on edge than usual.
