Hi, I'm Samantha/Sam (she/her). It's so great to meet you! I know how hard it can be to reach out for help, and I'm so glad you're here. As a therapist, my heart is to come alongside my clients as we uncover what weighs you down together. I believe the therapeutic relationship between a therapist and a client is a sacred place where you can find hope and healing. Having walked my own path, I know the work is hard, but that the results are absolutely worth it.
I work with both individuals and couples, offering a compassionate, collaborative space to explore patterns, communication, connection, and repair. In couples therapy, I help partners slow down, truly hear each other, and reconnect through empathy and curiosity. Whether you're navigating conflict, rebuilding trust, or deepening intimacy, I work with you both to uncover shared goals and create new ways of relating that feel safe and sustainable for your relationship. I am affirming all relationship structures, including monogamous, non-monogamous, and polyamorous partnerships. I have completed Level 1 training in the Gottman Method for couples therapy, and I use the Gottman Method for most of my couples work.
I utilize techniques such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Brief Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, and Grounding. From the very first session, we start building rapport, discussing your goals, what modalities we could use, and how it can help heal. This is your journey, not mine. I meet you where you are; you are the guide, and I am your support. I love to joke around, laugh with you, and most importantly, celebrate your progress, wins, and accomplishments.
I am a Professional Counselor Associate in Oregon and earned my Master's in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University in 2024. My professional experience includes working with adults in community mental health and equine-assisted therapy, and in a previous career, I worked in the specialty coffee and tea industry. When not practicing therapy, you can find me trail running, hiking, camping, hanging with my senior Siamese cat Princess Bubblegum, and exploring the beautiful PNW.
