Hello, I’m Kelsey Acosta (She/Her), and I'm so excited to meet you!

Starting therapy can feel like a long and daunting process, one that takes courage, vulnerability, and hope. Whether you're navigating uncertainty in your relationship, feeling overwhelmed by life transitions, or carrying the weight of past experiences, you're not alone. My goal is to meet you where you are with warmth, curiosity, and compassion.

Rooted in the belief that healing happens in relationship and guided by a deep respect for cultural identity, I approach therapy as a collaborative and co-created space where you are seen, heard, and honored in your full humanity. I am passionate about working with those who are ready to get curious about themselves, their relationships, and the patterns that shape their lives. Together, we’ll deepen your connection to self and others while building the capacity for greater awareness, fulfillment, and authenticity. My work centers on connection, cultural humility, and the belief that each human brings innate wisdom into the room.

I specialize in working with  individuals, particularly adults in their late 20s-30s in the midst of big transitions, navigating questions around meaning, connection, and a deeper understanding of themselves. My work with couples is a central and deeply meaningful part of my practice. I support partners in understanding how their individual experiences, identities, and stories shape the way they relate to one another. In our work together, I help couples slow down, get curious about themselves and each other, and build new ways of communicating that foster safety, clarity, and connection. Whether you’re navigating conflict, disconnection, or life changes, our work can support you in deepening intimacy and reimagining your relationship with greater intention.

My approach integrates relational-cultural therapy, experiential practices, and narrative therapy. I also draw from attachment theory, emotionally focused therapy (EFT), and existential-humanistic frameworks to guide our work. I often utilize what arises in the therapy room between us as a living example of how relational patterns may emerge in everyday life, inviting real-time exploration and reflection.

My previous clinical work includes experiential, nature-based therapy that incorporated animal-assisted support and a variety of creative and artistic techniques. These practices helped clients explore connection, practice mindfulness, and integrate somatic tools to support congruence and cultivate a deeper sense of fulfillment.

I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate. I received my Master’s degree in Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapy from Lewis & Clark College. My style is warm, personal, and infused with humor. I bring my authentic self into the room, genuine, grounded, and human. I hope this encourages you to do the same! Outside of the therapy space, you can often find me soaking up the outdoors in all its forms, from hiking through the beautiful scenery of the Pacific Northwest to lying in the grass with my dog, Maple. I also love exploring new restaurants and am always on the hunt for the best sweet treat. Together, we’ll create a space that feels safe for exploration, connection, and growth.
