All about Alex

Hi, my name is Alex (he/him), and I am a Registered Professional Counselor Associate in Oregon. I am passionate about personal growth, advocacy, and lifelong learning to support mental health and well-being.

I strive to create a space where you feel understood and supported while maintaining open and direct communication. My goal is to help you clarify your goals, deepen self-awareness, heal from trauma, and develop practical strategies to navigate life’s challenges.

I work with adults experiencing trauma, domestic violence, anxiety, and depression, supporting them as they explore their unique experiences and move toward greater clarity. My approach combines empathy for each person’s background with a straightforward, collaborative style. Together, we focus on what matters most to you and develop tools to foster meaningful growth.

I incorporate evidence-supported therapies, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), tailoring methods to your needs. I hold a BS in Psychology from Portland State University and an MA in Applied Clinical Psychology from Pacific University. I welcome clients from all cultures, beliefs, sexual orientations, and gender identities, and I am committed to providing culturally sensitive care that meets you where you are. I look forward to supporting you on your journey toward healing and personal growth.
